Here's to the Dads'!

Firstly - I CANNOT BELIEVE I haven’t blogged since February. Especially as I am nowhere near as overwhelmed with work as I was last year, & I still blogged all the time! I suppose this year ‘life’ has just gotten in the way a bit. For good & bad reasons! I started my own studio which naturally has taken a lot of my time, we are getting married ourselves in September - which as you know, takes up a lot of time & effort. On top of that I am obviously still shooting weddings & staying on top of the editing so I guess there’s enough excuses? The bad has been a few personal issues which has involved my Dad being in & out of hospital. This week being the most recent! However he is out the other side - again, & as it’s Father’s Day, it has inspired me to share a few special ‘Dad’ moments from my work, as this has actually made me appreciate it even more. I am so lucky that I am surrounded by love when I am at work & I get to witness such special bonds & moments - a lot of the time between Fathers & Daughters at weddings!

So this is only a little blog, mainly of images so I can show my love back for what I do & all the amazing Dad’s I get to meet. It’s obviously dedicated to my Dad & how brave he has been the last few days. Also my amazing Stepdad & Father-in-law - all of whom I am very lucky to have. So yes - here’s to all of you wonderful Dad’s who do / have done a marvellous job, & also the ‘like a Dad’ chaps who bring up others as their own.
