Blackwell Grange Cotswolds Wedding - Josh & Laura

I can’t believe this is the first wedding I have blogged since December & my first blog in a month! I think I predicted January to be quiet, but then as soon as my studio fell into opening at the start of the year, I have been non stop ever since! If you have read my previous blog you will know more about that! I was thinking I would have time to do so many blogs over the past two months before wedding season starts but I honestly haven’t had the time what with the studio, finalising everything for our own wedding in September & a few personal circumstances that always put life on hold. BUT here I am! Excited to show off the wedding of Josh & Laura who married on 13th August 2018 at Blackwell Grange…

Everything about this wedding gets a big tick from me! Extremely stylish, extremely good weather & extremely good people. Honestly - you do not need anything else. When I arrived Laura & the girls were being pampered by the amazing Bryony Dalton who I work with regularly & The Bridal Hair Specialists. I instantly fell into the laid back atmosphere & could really take my time shooting with pleasure. I went back & forth to capture details & Josh with his boys once they too arrived!

After the gorgeous ceremony, we had plenty of time in the sunshine to capture groups, mingling & couple photos. The attention to detail in every aspect made my job so easy & I was never lost for anything to capture. As you know Josh was wearing my favourite suit & I adored Laura’s elegant dress & extra large veil! All this complimented by neutral, stunning flowers by Simply Flowers. The light in the wedding reception room at Blackwell Grange is just the best, & especially with the doors wide open letting the fresh air & sunshine through it all adds to creating a relaxed atmosphere.

After the first dance I managed to steal Josh & Laura away for a few seconds in the golden light before I said goodbye, it was the perfect way to end such a special day.
