Gorgeous Iscoyd Park Wedding - Chloe & Olly
Again, I can only apologise for the lack of blogs this year. It is purely because I haven’t found it essential in the upkeep of my business the last few months, if I am being totally honest. I am fully booked for next year, I am keeping on top of edits, shooting in my studio in the week & finalising everything for our own wedding which is now just over eight weeks away; therefore blogging has had to come last. Last year I was putting so much pressure on myself & forcing myself to still blog whilst being swamped, so this year I have learnt to prioritise. However this morning, as I sent a wedding gallery off, I thought I would allow myself to blog before starting the next edit. You will see why I have chosen this gorgeous wedding, even though I have already blogged this venue only last December, but it’s just one of my favourites & the details at this one were so BEAUTIFUL!
Chloe & Olly got married on May 28th at the always beautiful Iscoyd Park. As soon as myself & Rob, who was second shooting with me, arrived, we could see the immense amount of planning that had gone into the day. The details were EVERYWHERE & everything was laid out for us ready - we couldn’t believe how organised Chloe was & how nothing at all had been missed. Everyone had beautifully wrapped, personalised presents & although there was a big number of bridesmaids & groomsmen the morning felt completely calm due to everything being under control & organised properly.
One of my favourite parts of this venue other than the stunning grounds, is the ceremony / evening reception room. It is classically beautiful with white walls & large windows which is perfect for the natural light. However this time around I did a double gasp when I saw the INCREDIBLE flowers by SASS flowers. I mean, I will let the photos say the rest, but I was OBSESSED!
As usual, Rob stayed with the boys in the morning whilst I was with the girls then we all met together for their lovely ceremony followed by their drinks reception in the sun accompanied by Gin, which is definitely the running theme so far this year! Shortly after this I went into group photos which I think took 15 minutes in total, again cause they were so organised. I can work incredibly fast when people work with me! This means you get more time during your drinks reception, & we get more time to capture all the little details!
We then had a lovely stroll through the grounds before being blown away again by their wedding breakfast set up! After the food & speeches, I was on light watch waiting for the best moment to whisk them away into the long grass to get some golden hour shots. You either have to risk it & wait as long as you can because it only gets better, or you just go with what you have got in case a huge cloud comes along or the sun vanishes behind the trees. I’m glad on this occasion we chose to go with what we had, because we managed to get some photos in the gorgeous light which very shortly after WENT BEHIND THE TREES!
Chloe then threw her bouquet, made Rob & I have a Gin, danced with her husband then walked through sparklers. We left everyone eating pizzas & ice cream! The most perfect relaxing & beautiful day!
Thank you for choosing us to be a part of it!
"We cant even put into words how amazing they are. You captured the day beautifully. You and Rob made us feel so comfortable and at ease we couldn’t have picked better people. Your the most lovely couple, you both were just like one of our friends. I trusted you with my whole heart to get the most amazing pictures and you did more than I ever expected." - Chloe
