Gorcott Hall, Redditch Wedding - Jo & Dave

I photographed Jo & Dave's lovely wedding at Gorcott Hall a couple of weeks ago. Gorcott Hall is about 20 minutes from where I live but I hadn't photographed there before! I find it really funny that I have photographed in North Yorkshire, Somerset, London but not 20 minutes up the road. Since then I have photographed another wedding there so I can safely say I know my way around now!

As soon as I saw Jo's flowers in the morning I was VERY excited, as I loved the earthy & ethereal style, which was carried through the decor of the whole day with a gorgeous plant pot table plan & greenery on all the tables. Jo went to University with the florist - 'Fairleys', which is definitely a bonus. Another thing I adored was the bridesmaids sequinned & tulle two pieces. Very on trend & looked gorgeous! The BEAUTIFUL wedding cake was made by Jo's Mum & Sister, look out for the little icing bumble bees...

The whole day was very relaxed & I think this is helped by the venue as it's very intimate but has gorgeous grounds with lots of photo opportunities. Also the fact Jo & Dave have been together for 11 years, I think everyone was very ready for this wedding! I really found their first dance song choice a highlight - 'Praise You' by Fatboy Slim. Breaking the wedding tradition & making it very cool with apt lyrics!
